A mocha brown, a soft spot for sneakerheads, climbs its way onto the Swoosh and new-collar panel. The beautiful balance between the khaki green on the tip and lace panel, versus the light blue on the heel tab, gives the upper a light foundation to build on. The midsole carries on this gentle motif with its cream hue, complemented ever so well by the partially brown sole below. The laces find themselves slightly yellowed and wonderfully match the exposed mesh collar lining. The traditional wings insignia is dipped in gold, and debossed into the brown collar, symbolising the prosperity and wealth that the Chinese New Year celebrations hope to bring.
